News.

Hey-o.

So I’ve been less than stellar about keeping up with this blog, but for a very good reason.  For a long time now I’ve been wanting to revamp it and add album reviews, artist features, and news about upcoming shows and I’m finally getting around to it.  A domain name has been purchased so the site will operate independently from tumblr, though I’ll still keep posting here for all you lazy guys and gals who don’t want to wander on over to the new site.  In any case, I’m very excited about the changes that are going to be made and while I’ll still run the thing, there are 20+ people involved now who will be busy writing reviews and going to shows and networking the heck out of it.  I want the new blog to be a place where people can go to find out all they need to know about Portland’s music scene.  I’ll be spending the next few weeks getting the site ready and I’m hoping to launch it mid-December (hopefully I’ll be able to set up some sort of show to commemorate the occasion with an amazing local band that I have yet to get ahold of and beg them to play at…so stay tuned for news about that).

Get anxious because when we’re done with it, it’s going to be BOSS.

Much love,

Maggie

I know. I know.

I’ve gone back on my word and have hardly posted a thing on here.  But since the demise of my beloved laptop, Louis, I’ve had very few opportunities to troll the internet, which is a shame since I’ve been deeply immersed in the local music scene.  I’ll do my darndest to update this little blog semi-regularly and I’ll be back in full force by January!

Yours,
Maggie

Many apologies for the absence.

My travels have taken me away from Portland, but now that I’m back I’ll be filling your dashboard with the sweet tunes of PDX.
